Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya, well-known television personalities, encountered a distressing incident during their 8th wedding anniversary trip to Europe. While visiting Florence, the couple fell victim to a robbery where they lost belongings worth ₹ 10 lakh, including wallets, passports, and other valuable items. Vivek Dahiya said that they are in urgent need of assistance from the Indian embassy to return to India, as they are left with no money.
The incident occurred when Divyanka and Vivek parked their car outside while exploring a property in Florence. Upon returning, they discovered that their car had been broken into, and all their belongings were stolen, except for some old clothes and food items left behind.
Despite seeking help from local authorities, they were reportedly dismissed due to the absence of CCTV cameras in the area. With the police station closing at 6 pm, and no immediate assistance from the embassy, the couple expressed their dire need for temporary passports and financial aid to facilitate their return home.
